Charles Raether publishes article on Russian EB-5 Program

AmLaw Group is proud to announce that our own managing partner, Charles Raether, recently published an article in the October installment of the prestigious Regional Center Business Journal spotlighting the emergence and development of the EB-5 program in Russia.

In his article, attorney Raether highlights the many benefits immigration lawyers can look for in developing their relationship with Russian citizens who are considering a move to the American investment market. Raether also dispels a number of misconceptions that have been hindering the cultivation of these relationships. Of Russia and its investors, Raether says:

“Realizing the full potential of this market will require groundwork to develop a network of partners and referral sources as well as educating both investors and intermediaries as to the realities of EB-5. However, given the smaller financial expectations of agents, favorable socio-economic circumstances for emigration, and absence of retrogression for these investors, the prospects of this market are compelling.”
